Unfortunately they've yet to get mobile.me stable, in fact I've had to disable all the "enhancements" to get my iMac stable again. First off, Apple converts this to mobile.me (me.com rather than mac.com) when you go to activate it. If you really want mobile.me this is a good price for it, but I can't envision why you would want this lemon.
The price is the same no matter where it is purchased. Worth the price if you ask me. This is the older version and since this I have upgraded again. I have a great love of both types but it seems the PC has stalemated itself and now with the Mac I get these great upgrades all the time. Apple speaks for itself. When I purchased this I was very happy with it. I own a PC and and Mac and use both often. I love it.
There were some problems while mac went to me but now the bugs are taken care of and it has been a pleasure using my mac account
It has been a nightmare and Apple provides ZERO support. This just goes to highlight that when things work, Apple is great but when it fails, they don't care and WILL NOT respond. I got this in anticipation of using it with my iPhone. There are still thousands of people who haven't had email access for over 10 days and some have completely lost all their emails.
To bad these things change so fast and cost so much, thats life in the intelligence era. A must have OS for today if you are a mac guy or girl. Easy to navigate. dominate the personal computer uses. OS 10.5 after the updates provided free by Apple is very responsive with very few problems. This product has a lot of good solid content along with some frills many can really get into. Some leading edge apps. Easy to understand and intuitive for the not so geeky operator with plenty of pizazz for the informed computer wizard.
